As the Security Engineer, you will work to ensure the configuration of OT systems aligns with business needs, validation, security, and compliance requirements while maintaining operational support and inspection readiness.

This is a full-time, 5 days a week onsite job. Applicants must be able to commute to Tukwila, WA, or relocate.

There is no sponsorship or C2C. You must currently live in the U.S.

Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000, plus benefits.

What to Expect:   

  • Develop and implement an OT systems roadmap in line with the company’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with other business departments to translate business needs into OT systems configuration.
  • Manage routine operational support and performance of OT systems within scope.
  • Confirm compliance of OT systems with local, global, industry, and regulatory policies and guidelines; participate in audits as required.
  • Support Project Management in delivering capital projects on time, within budget, and according to scope and specifications.
  • Act as the System Owner for site OT systems or ensure the agreed delegation of system owner responsibility within site departments.
  • Represent OT in customer meetings to receive/deliver information, requests, and requirements.
  • Manage system SOPs and Disaster Recovery; support the establishment of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Liaise and manage external vendors for OT systems (maintenance contracts, support services, etc.).
  • Partner with IT to ensure well-defined IT requirements and deliverables (IT infrastructure and hardware, IT security and compliance/vulnerabilities remediation).

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in OT work and 5 years in general security.
  • Proven ability to identify, direct, and implement OT solutions aligned with site business goals, to enhance technical and operational performance, quality, and profitability.
  • Collaboration in cross-functional environments with local and global stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical topics in business to non-technical terms.
  • Thorough attention to detail and a strong focus on planning.
  • Have a proactive ownership attitude and mindset.
