Network Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Network Administrator to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring our network, virtualization, and Windows systems run smoothly. You’ll also provide crucial technical support to our internal team, solving hardware, software, and network issues.

This is an onsite position in the Greater Portland, OR area.

Applicants must currently live in the U.S. There is no sponsorship or C2C.

What you will do:

• Manage FortiGate firewalls, switches, and VMware environments.
• Maintain Active Directory and provide support.
• Ensure data security, backups, and network performance.
• Offer hands-on support to users, ensuring they have the tools they need.
• Provide network documentation that includes diagrams, configuration settings, and procedures.
• Collaborate with our IT team on exciting projects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in IT, with experience in network and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of FortiGate, VMware, and Windows systems.
• Understanding of ITIL practices.
• Background working with cloud services and hybrid environments.
• Knowledgeable of IT security best practices and capacity to implement security measures.
