Cloud Security Administrator

As the Azure Cloud Security Administrator, you will be able to contribute to the design and secure operation of our company cloud solutions. You will need a solid background in cloud networking, architecture, and security.

This is full-time, on-site in downtown Portland, OR. You must currently live in the United States. There is no sponsorship or C2C available.

What to expect:

• Keep the company aligned with regulatory compliance requirements, policies, risk management, and best practice standards.
• Assess existing cloud infrastructure to detect risks and/or opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the improvement and scalability of a highly available and a secure cloud strategy.
• When designing, implementing systems and applications, integrate security solutions.
• Work with other teams from network and architecture to develop a solid remediation policy.
• Be the last line of defense for escalated Azure technical issues.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of cloud administration that includes security related experience and hands-on capability.
• Expertise using multiple compliance frameworks, like NIST, ISO, HIPAA.
• Solid knowledge of securing networks: firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc. (Meraki, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Understanding of automated processes, such as Azure DevOps and Azure Functions.
• Strong skills working in a team environment.
• Some travel may be needed for large scale projects.

Bonus:

• Azure Cloud Security or other Azure related certifications is preferred.
• Experience working in a SOX environment.
